Grade 2 - 4 Boys Club Basketball
This club program is for Male athletes in Grade 2 to 4 and will run from January to May, 2022. Athletes will practice twice a week, and will have the opportunity to play in exhibition games and tournaments against other local teams. Athletes will also have fitness training sessions. No previous skill or experience is required at this young age.
Grade 3 - 6 Girls Club Basketball
This club program is for Female athletes in Grade 3 to 6 and will run from January to May, 2022. Athletes will be split up by age group and will practice twice a week. Athletes will have the opportunity to play in exhibition games and tournaments against other local teams. Athletes will also have fitness training sessions. No previous skill or experience is required at this young age.
Grade 5-6 Boys Club Basketball
This club program is for Male athletes in Grade 5 to 6 and will run from January to May, 2022. Athletes will practice twice a week, and will have the opportunity to play in exhibition games and tournaments against other local teams. Athletes will also have fitness training sessions. No previous skill or experience is required at this young age.
Grade 7 - 8 Boys Club Basketball ‘Black’
This club program is for Male athletes in Grade 7 to 8 and will run from January to May, 2022. Athletes will practice twice a week, and will have the opportunity to play in exhibition games and tournaments against other teams. Athletes will also have fitness training sessions. The ‘Black’ club will be mainly for experienced players in Grade 8, or highly experienced players in Grade 7. The ‘Black’ club is very competitive, and will play in the Tier 1 divisions against the most elite Grade 8 teams in Newfoundland.
Grade 7 - 8 Boys Club Basketball ‘Blue’
This club program is for Male athletes in Grade 7 to 8 and will run from January to May, 2022. Athletes will practice twice a week, and will have the opportunity to play in exhibition games and tournaments against other teams. Athletes will also have fitness training sessions. The ‘Blue’ club will be mainly for experienced players in Grade 7, or less experienced players in Grade 8. The ‘Blue’ club is competitive, while also focusing on teaching fundamentals and details to prepare athletes for the U14 game. The club will play in the Tier 2 divisions in U14, playing against teams made out of the top Grade 7 talent in Newfoundland.
